I also use a MacBook Air M1 but if you have a cell phone you can get started there. By no means do you need to purchase any of these items, a cell phone and a product are all you need. If you do decide to go with an apple laptop, you’ll probably need some sort of dongle to connect your accessories. This Anker hub is the one that I went with.
Lastly, for those bathroom emergencies, when nervous about sales or returns I recommend a squatty potty. They come in handy when your nerves are as bad as mine.
